Well, it looks like we will be crowning a new WSOP Champion this year as defending champion Jerry Yang has busted out of the 2008 WSOP Main Event. With 1,557 players still left today, with about seven more hours of play to go go, and 466 who survived Day 2A, there are still plenty of candidates out there looking to fill Yang's shoes. Unfortunately, we won't find out who will fill them until November…

Current chip leaders in Day 2B include Terry Lade, Henning Granstad and online poker pro Cliff "JohnnyBax" Josephy. Anything can happen between now and the final table, so stay tuned for more updates from the 2008 WSOP.
