The Dallas police department’s vice squad came down hard on a ruthless band of Un-American thugs known as the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) who had the audacity to hold a charity poker event.

Dallas police stormed the VFW hall paramilitary-style in a raid that forced all participants in the charity function to freeze and submit to the authorities as they proceeded to seize flat-screen TVs, cash and all poker paraphernalia.

Dozens of VFW members were charged with misdemeanors that could hold punishments that range up to 6 months in jail and $1,000 fines.

The poker criminals were indeed breaking the law because in Texas you can play poker for money unless the house gets a cut. And since the VFW was taking a cut for charity they immediately became criminals in the eyes of the law.

The VFW has since been closed ensuring that no more of that filthy poker money will be distributed to the needy. Keep up the good work Dallas PD!
