While the $50k HORSE event is fully underway in the Orange section of the Amazon Room, across the hallway in the Brasilia room the $1,500 Limit Shootout event just got started. From the looks of the field it attracted everyone one didn't want to play HORSE, including Bodog Poker pros Evelyn Ng, David Williams and Jean Robert Bellande.

According to the official announcement, there will be 64 tables in play today, meaning that there will be 64 players moving onto Day 2 when play wraps up today. It also means that winning your table also guarantees a cash, so basically a $1,500 sit'n'go for a cash and then another for even more and one last one to win a bracelet. Sounds easy, right?

Anyway, out in the field for this event are Maria Ho, Mark Seif, Sorel Mizzi, Chino Rheem, Allen Cunningham, Humberto Brenes, Gavin Smith, Gavin Griffin, J.C. Tran, Men "The Master" Nguyen, Joe Sebok and Michael Mizrachi are here. Unfortunately, Evy managed to find herself sat with Dennis Phillips, Barny Boatman, and Tom McEvoy.

As this event and the $50k HORSE progress through the night we'll keep you posted on how Justin, Jean Robert, Evy and DW all fair in their respective tournaments. So, stay tuned.
