Women of Poker Part VI: Merciless Mercier in Bodog Nation

Isabelle Mercier's confidence has made her a killer at the felt.
Isabelle Mercier may be a youngster to the poker circuit - having turned pro only a scant three years ago - but not to gambling. "I worked full time as a blackjack dealer at night while going to law school during the day," recalls Mercier. "But I didn't care about law at all. When I became a lawyer, I practiced for only six months. I moved to Paris with nothing, became a poker dealer, and after two weeks I was promoted to management for their poker club. [Later] I quit that to turn pro myself and became a poker player."
