You may remember all the way back to yesterday when we posted about Event 18 - $5,000 No-Limit 2-7 Draw w/ Rebuys - of the 2008 WSOP and the stacked field that had showed up to play? Well, that field has narrowed considerably while the concentration of talent has gone through the roof, and it is shaping up to be a hell of a final table.

The chip leader at the moment is online poker phenom Tom "durrrr" Dwan, who just cracked the 500,000 in chips mark, and he is followed, in this order, by Mike "The Mouth" Matusow, Erick Lindgren, David Benyamine, Jeffrey Lisandro, Shawn Sheikhan, Tom "DonkeyBomber" Schneider, Layne Flack, Doyle Brunson , Tony 'G', Carlos Mortensen, Chad Brown, Chris "Jesus" Ferguson, Nick Schulman, Barry Greenstein, Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi, Michael Binger and Dario Alioto.

Say it with me now, "Holy crap, that's a lot of pros." Yeh, and there's only 24 players left in the event. We just listed 18 players, so the odds are astronomical that not only will a pro win this event, but that there will be some of the biggest names in poker sitting at the final table.

The 2008 WSOP is providing us with some great material, good viewing and memorable final tables. With this much going on in the preliminary events, what will the Main Event be like? Find out for yourself by qualifying online for the World Series of Poker with Bodog Poker and win a $12,000 WSOP VIP Prize Package. WSOP online satellites start for as little as $1.50.
