Is Shannon Elizabeth riding the HORSE to victory at the WSOP?

Shannon Elizabeth is proving to be pretty capable at all of the poker games in HORSE with a big showing on Day 1 of Event 22. She currently sits third in chips with 44,200.

Going into Day 2, with play resuming at 3 p.m. this afternoon, the top 10 chip counts are as follows: Alexander Jung with 54,300, Chris Gentile 50,300, Shannon Elizabeth 44,200, James Mackey 42,900, Todd Brunson 41,700, Marc Goodwin 41,500, Kevin Saul 36,800, Rostislav Tsodikov 36,000, James van Alstyne 36,000, and Linda Drucker 36,000.

This is the first HORSE event of the WSOP this year and will be well watched as a possible indicator of what to expect from the big $50,000 HORSE Championship coming up on June 25. The HORSE Championship, considered by many to be the true Main Event of the WSOP, will see the best and most versatile poker players compete for their share of a what is bound to be a monstrous prize pool.

Bodog has dozens of WSOP props currently offered in their sportsbook two of which involve the $50,000 HORSE Championship.

The first prop asks bettors which game they think will be played for the final hand of the HORSE Championship with the following odds: Holdem at 11/4, Omaha Hi/Lo at 15/4, Razz at 11/4, Seven Card Stud at 11/4 and Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo at 15/4.

An important point to note about this year’s HORSE events is that unlike last year, the game will be changed up after every cycle instead of after an entire round of each game.

The second HORSE WSOP prop asks bettors which player they think will last longer in the event. Head over to Bodog’s WSOP Props section in the sportsbook for complete odds.
