OK, Bodog’s WSOP Props are out of control now. We’re counting 25 at the moment and have heard there are plenty more to come.

One of the most recent additions asks bettors whether they think Johnny Chan or Doyle Brunson will win their eleventh WSOP bracelet this year.

The odds for either Brunson or Chan to capture it are evenly set at 14/1. The odds for both players to do it is set at 40/1 and for neither of them to win a bracelet this year the odds are set at 1/33.

We at the Beat are thinking that betting on neither of them is not only not very lucrative but pretty boring. We also aren’t too into the long shot as it doesn’t quite pay out as much as we’d like. With the payouts even for both players we’re thinking that it comes down to picking either Chan or Brunson. And since most of Doyle’s bracelets come from a time when Cro-Magnons were still competing with Homo Sapiens for the flesh of Dodo Birds on a continent known as Pangaea… well we’re going to have to say that relatively speaking Chan is on absolute fire with his last bracelet being won in 2003.

Check out this and dozens of other WSOP props in the Bodog Sportsbook.
