The theme for this year's draft? Play it safe.

The Dolphins have already set the tone by signing offensive tackle Jake Long with their No. 1 overall pick. I think they've taken the wrong Long and are simply making the safest, cheapest move.

But that speaks volumes on how they and the other 31 teams view this year's draft.
