The preseason can be a showcase for a lot of new coaches and players, although it does not mean much if you can't roll it over into the games that actually matter. It can also be a time for players that were injured last season to finally see some game action again.

The biggest name that people will be interested in seeing this preseason will be Tom Brady. How will the superstar QB for the Patriots look after sitting out all last season with an injury?

Then there are the rookies. How will Matt Stafford look for the Lions in his first preseason action?

Coaches who will be in the spotlight early will be Jim Caldwell for the Colts, Eric Mangini for the Browns, and Rex Ryan for the Jets. All are starting fresh, and in the case of Caldwell he is replacing Tony Dungy.

Will Terrell Owens fit in with the Bills at wide receiver?
