2009 NHL Playoffs Schedule Set

The NHL playoffs get fired up on Wednesday night with the Washington Capitals (+1000 to win the Cup) hosting the New York Rangers (+3500) and the Pittsburgh Penguins (+900) hosting the Philadelphia Flyers (+2000).

Just after that the New Jersey Devils (+700) and Carolina Hurricanes (+2000) will get their series rolling, while the night will end with the Vancouver Canucks (+1200) and St. Louis Blues (+5000) opening up the Western Conference matchups.

On Thursday night the other four series begin, and they include the top-seed Boston Bruins (+550) against the Montreal Canadiens (+4500), the West’s best team, the San Jose Sharks (+350) against the Anaheim Ducks (+3500), the Detroit Red Wings (+350) against the Columbus Blue Jackets (+4000), and finally the Chicago Blackhawks (+1800) against the Calgary Flames (+2500).
