After months of speculation, slander, innuendo and rumor, Green Bay Packers training camp started how many figured it would despite the wildfire - Aaron Rodgers as starting quarterback.
The Brett Favre-inspired media circus surrounding Wisconsin these days basically overshadows the story that Rogers now inherits one of the toughest jobs in pro sports. With Packers GM Ted Thompson insisting that Favre coming back in a reserve role is still a possibility, Rogers could very well be replacing a legend…while the legend holds a clipboard and waits for him to mess the bed.
Oddsmakers appear leery of the Pack situation. Currently, Green Bay is listed as a 25/1 longshot to win the 2009 Super Bowl, featured as a part of the numerous Football Futures Betting options available in the Bodog Sportsbook. Get in on some NFL action today!
