UFC legend David "Tank" Abbott (9-13-0) says internet street-fighter Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson (1-0-0) should have trained with a "real fighter" to prepare for their upcoming battle on Saturday, Feb. 16 in Miami, Fla., at Elite XC: Street Certified.

Slice, who is currently a -450 favorite to win in the Bodog Sportsbook, has been training with mixed martial arts legend Bas Rutten (28-4-1), a former UFC heavyweight champion and three-time King of Pancrase.

"I think it’s funny that he’s got Bas Rutten to train him; this is a real fight and not a slap-fest," Abbott said at a pre-fight press conference. "He should have gotten a real fighter to train him. Training with Bas is better than nothing, but you either have it or you don’t."

Slice did not take the comments lightly according to MMAjunkie.com.

"Bas is a mentor of mine, and anything Tank has to say about him, I’m going to take it personal," Slice responded. "He has a big mouth. He needs to watch what he says. I’m going to make him pay for his words."
