Those Minnesota Twins (87-72, 16.39 units) just won't go away. The latest hero was Alexi Casilla, who singled in the winning run in the 10th inning last night to beat Chicago 7-6 and boost the Twins into first place in the AL Central by a half-game.
After sweeping their biggest series of the season, the pesky Twins shoot for a fifth consecutive victory as they open their final series against the Kansas City Royals tonight at the Metrodome. The Twins have to be careful coming off the high of sweeping the ChiSox, since the Royals have won 11 of 13 games and are poised to play the spoiler.
The White Sox (86-72, 8.51 units) will try to pick up the pieces and recover quickly as they open a three-game series with the Cleveland Indians, sending John Danks to the mound.
It is starting to look more and more likely that the season will come down to a makeup game between Chicago and Detroit that would be played Monday if necessary. Talk about drama in the AL Central. Get all your MLB Baseball Betting Lines in the Bodog Sportsbook today!
