Nick Saban is a pretty good recruiter. The proof came on Wednesday, aka National Signing Day, when the Alabama head coach saw a number of high-profile recruits commit to the Tide.

The biggest among them was top receiver and native Alabaman Julio Jones. In May of last year, the 6-4, 215-pound Jones ran a 4.45 forty and registered a 38.9-inch vertical jump at a recruiting camp. He has also been compared to Terrell Owens…the athletic part at least. Not sure about the idiocy.

"In the end I went with the choice that I felt most comfortable with, the one that felt like home, and that was Alabama," Jones said. "I took a lot of visits up there, and that's where I felt the best.

"I looked at their facilities, the campus and academics, and it was as good as it got, so that was good enough for me. I felt good with the coaches. They told me they were going to move me around and use me in different sets. I think I'll fit in fine."

Here are the rest of Alabama's 2008 commit list.
