With six days of US Open competition in the rear view mirror, the men's tennis field looks to narrow down to 16.

On the schedule for today include number two-ranked Roger Federer, third-ranked Novak Djokovic and American power serving phenom Andy Roddick.

In the second match at the Arthur Ashe Stadium watch Federer, fresh off an Olympic gold medal, take on Radek Stepanek in his quest to reclaim tennis dominance after having been ousted from the number one spot by Rafael Nadal.

Meanwhile Djokovic will face 19-year-old Marin Cilic of Croatia as he looks to squeeze into the quarter-final round.

In one of the day's third matchups at Arthur Ashe, Roddick and Italian Andreas Seppi square off just days after the American dropped a set to Ernests Gulbis of Latvia in round two.
