The Arizona Cardinals beat the Philadelphia Eagles 32-25 Sunday afternoon to take the 2009 NFC Championship and are headed to the 2009 Super Bowl for the first time in team history.
"I'm happy for our great fans!" Cardinals president Michael Bidwell said immediately following the game. "Thank you Arizona!"
Going into this matchup against the Eagles, the Cardinals were the 4-point underdogs and the game's total was 47. So for anyone betting on Kurt Warner to lead his team to victory…congratulations. Now you've got a little extra dough to throw down on the on the Super Bowl on Feb. 1 in Tampa Bay. And if you bet on the Eagles? Well what can we say? Better luck next year.
