All three top-10 seeds, Rafael Nadal, Andy Roddick, and Nikolay Davydenko, plowed through their oppenents down under in the 2008 Australian Open.

Nadal advanced to the third round by rolling over Florent Serra 6-0, 6-2, 6-2.

"Yeah, very happy," Nadal to ESPN.com of his performance. "I'm trying to play a bit more aggressive and definitely serving better, which is good."

The highest Nadal has placed in the Australian Open is in the quarterfinals last year.

Roddick moved up the ranks in an impressive fashion, beating Michael Berrer 6-2, 6-2, 6-4.

I had fun out there tonight," Roddick said. "If he was getting one step into the court, even if he was behind the baseline, it seemed like he was charging. It was pretty cold, the ball wasn't going anywhere, so I figured maybe I would let him take his chances. Over the long haul, I felt like I might get ahead."

It looked like Davydenko had a competitive match on his hands against Nicolas Mahut, winning the first set 6-4. But from the second set on there was no question who would come away with the victory .Davydenko blanked Mahut in the second set and finished him 6-3 in the final.
