With a four-game series against the second-place Florida Marlins set to open tonight, the red-hot Philadelphia Phillies will try to improve on the best road record in the majors and gain an inside track on a third straight division title.

The Phillies have been money on the road this year, winning all three games at Florida from April 24-26 and boasting a league-best 26-15 road record despite going 3-6 on their most recent trip.

That being said, it is the Marlins who are pegged as -125 favorites tonight.

Marlins starter Chris Volstad is coming off the best start of his young career. Volstad pitched a five-hitter in a 7-0 win over San Francisco last Wednesday, which was his first career complete game.

Florida has won 10 of its last 11 home games, but was outscored 26-9 during the Phillies’ three-game sweep in South Florida earlier this season.
