Bears Sign Former Lions' RB Kevin Jones

Well, I guess they did need another running back.

After stating that they were done looking for help at running back despite waiving Cedric Benson, the Chicago Bears signed Kevin Jones to a one-year contract.

The Bears drafted a Matt Forte in the second round and at first seemed focussed on using him and backup (the other) Adrian Peterson in their rushing attack. But it looks like they've come to their senses and decided to bring in Jones as insurance.
