Bernard “the Executioner” Hopkins Marches On

Bernard Hopkins, 42, continued his impressive career on the weekend by winning a unanimous decision over 35-year-old Winky Wright at the Mandalay Bay Casino in Las Vegas and says he now wants a piece of super middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe.
"I want (Joe) next," Hopkins said. "Tell (the Welshman) to come on over here and we'll fight. I'll beat him, too, and then he won't be undefeated."
Hopkins was even bold enough to demand that the undefeated Calzaghe fight him at Yankee Stadium in March.
Might be a little cold Bernard.
Also Calzaghe has a unification bout with Mikkel Kessler in November. But don't count on either issue stopping Hopkins from doing his best to hype boxing and his own legacy in the sport.
"Hey, we can wear coats," Hopkins said. "I think I've enhanced my legacy and gained my respect and so (Calzaghe) should definitely come here. My legacy is (way) longer than Joe Calzaghe's, so he ought to come to my house."
