Detroit star Chauncey Billups scored 32 points tonight, nine of them in overtime, as the Pistons took out the Phoenix Suns 110-105 in Auburn Hills, Mich.
The Suns came into the game looking for their eighth straight win. That was the good news. The bad news is that they lost and must now face Boston on Wednesday, Philadelphia on Friday and New Jersey Saturday. The Celtics lead the league and the Sixers are hotter than Mexican lava, which is really hot because of the spices. (Philadelphia beat Boston 95-90 tonight.)
Amare Stoudemire led Phoenix with 33 points while Shaquille O'Neal added 12 and Steve Nash finished with nine assists.
