Boston Celtics Throttle Pistons in AI Home Debut

In a rematch of last season's Eastern Conference Finals, the Boston Celtics took it to the Detroit Pistons in front of an excited Auburn Hills crowd all the way to to an 88-76 victory.

Pacing the Pistons once again was Tayshaun Prince with 23 points who tied Celtics reserve guard Tony Allen for the game lead.

The matchup marked Allen Iverson's first in front of the Pistons home crowd, but the result left much to be desired. In the four games prior to Iverson's debut the Pistons went 4-0, while now having lost both since he arrived.

Elsewhere on Sunday afternoon, the Los Angeles Clippers won their first game of the season at the expense of the Dallas Mavericks, the Toronto Raptors advanced to 4-2 with a victory over Charlotte and the New York Knicks won their third game of the season over the Utah Jazz.

Currently underway are Atlanta Hawks and Oklahoma Thunder, while the the Memphis Grizzlies attempt to take down Carmelo Anthony and the Denver Nuggets.
