Finally, some good news for Denver Broncos WR Brandon Marshall.

Marshall, who had spent much of the offseason accruing fines and piling up suspensions from the NFL, received word on Friday that his three-game suspension had been chopped to one. Now, Marshall will only miss the opening-night MNF game against the Oakland Raiders.

Marshall will have his suspension lowered to one game, but will be fined a second game check. All told, two total missed games will work out to approximately $50,000, a hefty fee for a guy making $445,000 per season.

On March 6, Marshall was arrested on a domestic violence charge involving a former girlfriend. He followed that up by nearly destroying his arm (lacerating an artery, vein, nerve and two tendons) after ramming it through a television while wrestling a family member.
