After a summer's worth of drama regarding a possible comeback, 38-year-old Brett Favre made his debut with the New York Jets in a 13-10 loss to the Washington Redskins.

In his first preseason game after being traded from the Green Bay Packers, Favre completed five of six passes for 48 yards, one of which led to his first thrown touchdown with his new club.

On the game, Favre shared quarterback duties with Kellen Clemens and Brett Ratliff.

After taking an early lead and holding on through the first quarter the Redskins slowly chipped away at the lead before claiming the lead in the fourth quarter.

On a night that was all about Favre, fans of Favre's former club witnessed a 34-6 thrashing of their beloved Packers at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers.
