Start shopping for No. 4 jerseys Jets fans, Brett Favre is leaving the Green Bay Packers and coming to New York.

The Jets traded the 17-year veteran for a fourth-round pick. However, the pick can increase to a third-rounder if Favre takes 50 percent of the snaps in 2008. If he gets 70 percent of the snaps and the Jets make the playoffs, it becomes a second-round pick; and if he gets 80 percent of the snaps and the Jets make the Super Bowl, it becomes a first-round pick.

The only question that remains is if this qualifies as the Madden "cover curse". Favre is on the cover of Madden 2009 and since being put on the cover he's been shunned by the team he loves, the Packers, and basically run out of town.
