Sebastian Vettel produced a faultless drive at Silverstone to lead a Red Bull one-two in the British Grand Prix.

Vettel (+1000 to win the drivers championship) finished 15 seconds ahead of Red Bull teammate Mark Webber to prove that the much-improved Milton Keynes-based team have the potential to challenge for world championship honors in the second half of the season.

Webber came home second, ahead of Brazilians Rubens Barrichello of Brawn and Felipe Massa of Ferrari.

German Nico Rosberg finished fifth for Williams ahead of world championship leader Jenson Button in his Brawn, Finn Kimi Raikkonen of Ferrari, and German Timo Glock for Toyota.

Defending champion Lewis Hamilton gave everything he had in a spectacular and incident-filled outing that saw him start 18th and finish 16th.

Vettel's win cut Button's lead in the drivers championship, as Button now has 64 points with Barrichello second at 41 and Vettel third at 39.
