Just when you thought all the NFL drama was over another player is ticked off with his team.
Wide receiver Anquan Boldin has been unhappy with his contract and confirmed he has asked the Arizona Cardinals for a trade.
Word is he's barely been talking with his head coach.
"We've been communicating," head coach Ken Whisenhunt said. "If communicating is talking, that's what we have been doing at practice. As we go forward, I don't know. I don't foresee anything changing. If it does, it's in his court."
The Cardinals are adamant that Boldin will not be traded, and that they plan on re-signing the disgruntled WR at the end of this season.
"If I'm not going to be treated fairly, if my hard work and loyalty isn't going to be rewarded here, then let me go somewhere where it's going to be rewarded. That's how I feel," Boldin said.
