A three-way deal is apparently in the works which would give the Cleveland Cavaliers a high-scoring backcourt option to team with LeBron James.
According to ESPN.com's Chris Broussard, the deal will shake down like this. Cleveland will get Mo Williams from the Milwaukee. Williams averaged 17.2 points and a team-high 6.3 assists last season. Cleveland will then send Damon Jones to Milwaukee and Joe Smith to Oklahoma City. Milwaukee will also get Luke Ridnour and Adrian Griffin from Oklahoma, while the former Sonics will retain the services of Desmond Mason (a former Oklahoma State standout who also used to play in Seattle).
All told, it appears as though Cleveland is doing everything in its power to surround LeBron James with more talent. How will this deal shake out, though?
