Tomorrow will be a great, albeit hectic, day for Boston Celtics players and fans alike.
After defeating the Los Angeles Lakers 131-92 for their 17th NBA title, the Celtics now turn their attention to celebrating with arguably the finest fanbase in the league. Namely, with a ticker-tape celebration parade.
The parade, slated to start at 11 a.m., will begin on Causeway Street in front of the TD Banknorth Garden, where Celtics players, coaching staff and family will board Duck boats, and head up Staniford Street. The route will continue, turning left onto Cambridge Street, then onto Tremont, before turning right onto Boylston Street and ending at Copley Square.
"We are proud of this team and the hard work and dedication it took to bring the Larry O'Brien Championship trophy back to Boston," said Mayor Thomas Menino, in a statement. "We love celebrating championships, keep 'em coming."
Even though the Celtics have taken home the crown and the NBA season is done, don't fret - there are still lots of MLB Baseball Betting odds available in the Bodog Sportsbook. All you Celtics fans just turn your attention to the Red Sox and keep on winning!
