The 2009 CFL Grey Cup playoffs continue Sunday with the BC Lions vs. Montreal Alouettes (1 p.m. EST) in the Eastern Finals, and the Saskatchewan Roughriders vs. the Calgary Stampeder (4:30 p.m. EST). Over at Bodog Sportsbook, the CFL odds on these two games are not currently available, but the better record and home field would give Montreal the edge over in the East, while Saskatchewan has home field and one heck of a battle on their hands with Calgary in the West.
If you're trying to figure out why and/or how BC is playing for the Eastern title, don't bother. All you need to know is that they crossed over and last week they beat the Hamilton Tiger-Cats to earn their spot in the Eastern Final. Just leave it at that.
So, who do you like for the Eastern Final? The Lions are 3-3 in their past six games with Montreal, and in the past four matchups the games have been decided by a touchdown or less.
And for the Western Final? Well, the last time these two teams met the Stamps lost 30-14 and Riders fans are way too excited about seeing their first Western Final at Mosaic Stadium since 1976.
