Ocho Cinco is ready to say adios.

Chad Johnson, the flamboyant Bengals receiver known more for his TD celebrations than actual worth, has gone on record as saying that he no longer wants to play for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Responding to reports from teammate and Bengals QB Carson Palmer that he'd be attending Cincy's mini-camps, Johnson had the following to offer:

"I don't know where he got that. I made no assertion to Carson that I would do that. Nothing has changed from what I've been saying for three months that I don't want to play for the Bengals," Johnson told reporters. "I want to be traded before the draft, and if that doesn't happen, I want to be traded as soon as possible. I don't intend on reporting to anything."

Wow.

While the rumblings have been going on for quite some time now, this is clearly the most adamant statement Johnson has uttered with regard to his future in Cincinnati. His combustible relationship with head coach Marvin Lewis – earlier in the year Johnson told Jim Rome that he was being blamed for all of the Bengals' woes – has now seemingly exploded. While Lewis has stated numerous times he's not in the market of trading his Pro Bowl receiver, he may have no choice now. Johnson is seemingly forcing his hand.
