Chicago Bulls Choose Derrick Rose with the No. 1 Pick in the Draft

This one wasn't too surprising.

Derrick Rose has been selected No. 1 overall by the Chicago Bulls.

When the Bulls first got the No. 1 pick in the draft everyone though Michael Beasley would be a lock. But Rose, a native of Chicago, proved to be a better leader and floor general for a team that lacks a facilitator in the mold of Deron Williams and Chris Paul.

With that pick off the board the Miami Heat on the clock.
