Everyone seems to think that Chuck Liddell has had a meltdown. The truth is that Chuck Liddell has been exposed for who he really is. He was a champion and UFC poster boy for years, but the world’s best fighters were not in the UFC for most of his career. Pride Fighting was where the best fighters were until UFC owners bought out the promotion and brought in the best talent. Since then Chuck has not had the same caliber of opponents he used to once enjoy.

He made an appearance in a Pride tournament in 2003 and was beaten by Quinton Jackson so bad his corner threw in the towel. Now that his opponents are better, his one-dimensional style is being exposed almost every fight. I don’t see Chuck Liddell coming back into title contention. He’ll just fight guys that his striking style stacks up well against.

World's best fighters? like who? Rua? got taken apart by a TUF winner who coincidentally also beat jackson. Wanderlei Silva was leading the pack in pride when chuck was leading his. We saw what happened when those 2 met. I hardly think there is any factual foundation for your statement. I dont think that its anything more than wear and tear finally showing up on Chuck. Same with Silva. Both great fighters who have just been in the game so long their bodies cant take it anymore. Not every fighter is blessed with the longevity that Couture has. Sooner or later it happens. btw. Pride-fighters dont exactly have the best records in the UFC. Your kinda overlooking that little nugget of info.

are you retarded? the only pride fighter to beat him is rampage. he beat wanderlei who once dominated pride and im sure he could still beat many fighters who came from pride. he list to 2 fighters tht were on TUF in his last 3 losses so i dont know where your coming up with the idea that pride fighters have exposed him.

I dont think the statement about Chuck Liddell is accurate. Chuck Liddell was the best fighter in the world of mixed martial arts at 205. He actually defeated many opponents that are contending today still. Not to mention that the best fighters are not in pride and Dan Henderson is a perfect example oof that. He came into the ufc and got smashed in both the middleweight and leight-heavyweight divisions
