UFC heavyweight champion Randy "The Natural" Couture (16-8-0) isn't the only one who wants a piece of Fedor Emelianenko (27-1-0).

Now, hearing the news that Emelianenko might soon be a free agent, former UFC light heavyweight champion Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell (21-5-0) is getting in line for his shot at the top-ranked Russian fighter.

"Fedor’s someone I want to fight because he’s someone I match up well with," he tells The Sun. "He’s a ground and pound guy that doesn’t have a great shot. He doesn’t have a great game plan. I think I could take him. I think I match up well with him. As far as I know he’s never knocked anyone out from his feet and I think he’d have a hard time taking me down.”

If Liddell hopes to fight Fedor, he'll have to make the move up to heavyweight but "The Iceman" says that isn't a problem. "A move to heavyweight is a possibility for me," he says.

"If I’m done with everything at light heavyweight I might move up. The top guys up there aren’t all that big heavyweights. Randy [Couture] was but I knocked him out twice."

    I think chuck can atleast put up a fight, however he MIGHT wanna do a little research cause as far as I know…. fedors sitting at 13 KOs from his feet.They are roughly the same size. Both have great punching but fedors ground game is quite possibly the BEST in the sport. Id definitly pay to see this fight though
