The Duke Blue Devils entered the Maui Invitational having won every game they’ve ever played in the early-season college basketball tuneup. They upped their all-time record to 10-0 with a 83-61 victory over the Princeton Tigers at the Lahaina Civic Center on the picturesque Hawaiian island.

No. 13 Duke missed covering the point spread of 23 by just one. The betting total was under 127 points.

The Blue Devils improved to 3-0 on the season behind a strong performance from freshman forward Kyle Singler, who sored 21 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Gerald Henderson scored 12 points and Jon Scheyer added 10 as Duke displayed the scoring depth it lacked last season.

Mike Krzyzewski’s team advances to Tuesday’s semifinal round of the tournament.
