Notre Dame will also be putting its record-shattering home winning streak of 45 games on the line as first Connecticut and then Marquette come to town within three days.

For Notre Dame to win they must keep Luke Harangody out of foul trouble. Harangody had his 10th consecutive 20-point game and eighth straight double-double as he scored 25 points with 16 rebounds last Saturday against Syracuse.

Notre Dame is one of the few teams that can match up with UConn in both the backcourt and the frontcourt. A.J. Price and Jerome Dyson take on Kyle McAlarney and Tony Jackson in the fight to control the tempo. If the Huskies win the tempo battle they have a great shot at pulling off the road upset.
