The Terps had lost two consecutive games and three of four before holding on to beat visiting Virginia 84-78 on Tuesday night. That should put Maryland in a better frame of mind before taking on a Duke team that is 17-1 and undefeated in the conference.

Maryland has played only two true road games this season, losing both at Miami and at Florida State last weekend. The Terps were swept by Duke last season and the Blue Devils are a perfect 11-0 at home so far this year.

A victory for the Blue Devils likely would set up a No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchup next week at Wake Forest. If Duke is already looking ahead to that possible matchup, Maryland could sneak up and surprise them today. Get all your NCAA odds in the Bodog Sportsbook.
