The Minnesota Golden Gophers will see how their balanced offense responds tonight when they visit a stingy Iowa Hawkeyes team that has yet to lose at home this season.

Minnesota is off to its best start since 1996-97, when it began 15-1 en route to a 31-4 record and an appearance in the Final Four.

Under Tubby Smith, the Gophers have one of the conference's most balanced offenses. They rank near the top of the league in scoring, averaging 73.1 points despite having only one player that ranks among the conference's top 25 scorers in Lawrence Westbrook, who scores 13.0 per game.

Last season Minnesota was only 4-8 on the road and they have lost four straight and seven of eight at Iowa.

The Hawkeyes are 9-0 at home (2-1 ATS), where they are holding opponents to 50.6 points on 37.7 percent shooting.
