They might get to hang around for a while this time; Pittsburgh has a pair of road games this week against two of the Big East’s lesser lights, starting with the Providence Friars (16-11 SU, 9-14 ATS) on Tuesday night.
The Friars aren’t entirely without their charms. This experienced and very fast team connects on 52.5 percent of its 2-point attempts, and Providence is good at not getting into foul trouble. But going 4-8 ATS at home (12-4 SU) and 2-9 ATS as the underdog won’t inspire a lot of confidence among bettors.
Pitt, on the other hand, has the most efficient offense in all of Division I, and is 9-2 ATS as a favorite of between five and 19.5 points – which will be the case on Tuesday. Be sure to get your college basketball picks with the Bodog Sportsbook.
