Since losing the Red River Shootout, OU has two relatively easy wins (1-1 ATS) under its belt, and Saturday’s matchup with the Nebraska Cornhuskers (5-3 SU, 4-4 ATS) should make it three in a row.
Nebraska is just 0-3 SU and 1-2 ATS the past three years versus Oklahoma in what used to be a classic Big 8 rivalry. The Cornhuskers football program is in its first year under Bo Pelini and showing signs of life with victories over Iowa State (+7) and Baylor (+14). Before that, Nebraska extended Texas Tech (+21 at home) to overtime in an eventual 37-31 defeat.
The Sooners have beaten their opponents by an average of nearly 26 points this season; the over is 6-1. ESPN has the TV coverage at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
