A Wildcat victory not only assures them their first winning season since 1998, it will also knock ASU out of bowl contention.

The 10-point underdog Sun Devils are playing their best football of the season, coming off three straight victories after losing a school-tying record six midway through the campaign.

The reason is pretty simple, it is the defense. The D can be thanked after scoring four touchdowns in a 34-9 victory over UCLA a week ago. The offense continues to have problems, averaging just 24 points and 322 yards per game.
