The Auburn Tigers (4-3 SU, 1-6 ATS) are headed to Morgantown to face the West Virginia Mountaineers (4-2 SU, 1-4 ATS) in non-conference action. The under is a combined 10-2 for these two clubs.
Scoring has been a challenge for both teams. West Virginia is No. 82 in the nation at 22.2 points per game; Auburn is No. 97 at 19.1 points. The Mountaineers have yet to find their footing under new coach Bill Stewart, while the Tigers are trying out a spread offense that just isn’t clicking. Auburn’s failure to score cost offensive coordinator Tony Franklin his job after less than one season.
Meanwhile, both defenses have been strong this year. Auburn is fourth in the FBS at 4.1 yards per play, with WVU sitting at No. 16 at 4.4 yards a pop.
