The next task at hand for the Chippewas is a trip to Northern Illinois on Wednesday for a nationally-televised matchup against the Huskies that will feature a classic meeting between one of the MAC’s top offenses and the conference’s stingiest defense. This game marks the beginning of a three-game stretch of contests against MAC West opponents to close out the Chippewas’ season.

Northern Illinois is coming off a 45-14 loss to Ball State where Nate Davis picked apart the Mid-American Conference’s top-ranked defense, throwing for four touchdowns and running for another. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for the Huskies.

The home team is 5-0-1 ATS in the last six meetings between these clubs. Bet on college football in the Bodog Sportsbook.
