You could say the Florida Gators offense has been destroying their competition lately. Or, you could simply say the Gators have averaged 52 points per game during their current seven-game winning streak.

The Gators have already clinched their spot in the SEC Championship Game against Alabama, but this weekend’s rivalry game against the Seminoles is still important for two reasons. First, it’s against the Seminoles, who they always want to beat badly. And second, they need to keep winning to stay in the national championship picture.

The Seminoles finally put everything together last week in their 37-3 win over Maryland, but they’re still a 16.5-point home underdog to the Gators this weekend.

The Gators have won four straight against the Seminoles after routing Florida State 45-12 last season. Before reeling off two straight wins at Florida State the Gators had not won at Doak Campbell Stadium since 1997.
