It will be an emotional Saturday in Gainesville when Tim Tebow plays his final home game for Florida. The greatest Gator ever has been the main reason UF has crushed Florida State by a combined 90-27 the past two seasons, with Tebow accounting for nine touchdowns. The Gators are -24.5 on Bodog’s college football odds to make it six wins in a row against the Seminoles.

Florida has won 21 games in a row, and only one game in that stretch was decided by less than double digits. Yet the Gators have covered in just two of their past six games.

Florida State is a very good offensive team. The Noles average 435 yards per game, and they are 2-0 since redshirt freshman E.J. Manuel took over as the starter. In those two games, FSU has averaged 35 points, with Manuel throwing for 426 yards and a touchdown (but four picks) and rushing for a TD. The Seminoles also are averaging better than 230 yards rushing in three of their past four games. But the Gator defense has allowed just eight offensive touchdowns this season and is ranked No. 1 in the nation in scoring defense and pass defense and No. 2 in total defense.

FSU’s defense simply won’t be able to stop Tebow and Co., as the Noles defense ranks 105th in rushing defense and 106th in total defense.

Really the only chance FSU has in this one, when placing that college football bet at Bodog, is if the Noles score first – UF is 43-1 under Urban Meyer when scoring first — and Florida turns the ball over at least a few times, but the Gators have played four turnover-free games in a row.
