The Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders (5-6 SU and ATS) and the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns (5-6 SU, 7-4 ATS) meet Wednesday night in one of a very small handful of non-title games this week. The winner will be bowl eligible, and the odds have UL-Lafayette as a 5-point chalk to make it to the postseason.

The good times were rolling for ULL at 5-3 SU and 7-1 ATS to start the season. But the money train came to a screeching halt in Week 11 with a 37-34 loss to visiting UTEP (+13.5). The Blue Raiders, conversely, are 3-1 SU and ATS over their last four games, with RB Phillip Tanner exploding for 159 yards in last week’s 52-13 destruction of pitiful North Texas (+18). The road team is 3-0 SU and ATS in the past three matchups.
