College Football Odds: Navy at Northern Illinois

Northern Illinois Huskies

Sinking Navy won’t guarantee the Huskies a bowl invitation, but a loss will definitely eliminate them from postseason contention.

Stopping Navy is all about stopping their hard-to-contain option offense. The Huskies learned that, or at least should have learned that, last season after the Midshipmen racked up 359 rushing yards in a 35-24 win as a 16.5-point favorite. Northern Illinois may be up to the task with the No. 1 run defense in the MAC, but they haven’t seen anything like the Midshipman’s attack this season.

To see how much the Midshipman favor the run all you have to do is take a quick glance at their season stats. In 10 games this season Navy has attempted only 70 passes, compared to their 549 rushing attempts.  Get your NCAA football odds in the Bodog Sportsbook.
