Anyone can win this conference – OK, maybe not Syracuse. But the USF Bulls (6-1 SU, 2-4 ATS) and the Louisville Cardinals (4-2 SU, 3-2 ATS) both have reason to believe this will be their year.
The Bulls have been a fixture in the polls this season, but they’re not very good at getting paid. The running game is a concern; Mike Ford and Ben Williams have dealt with ankle injuries, and USF is No. 50 in the nation with 4.5 yards per carry. QB Matt Grothe (12 TDs, three INTs) and the Bulls defense have done most of the heavy lifting.
Meanwhile, Louisville QB Hunter Cantwell has also been bothered with an ankle injury, but the Cards rushing attack (5.2 yards per carry) has paid off in two straight games. Louisville is a 3.5-point home dog (-115) in Saturday’s matchup.
