The No. 8 Cougars (6-0 SU, 2-3 ATS) have laid waste to every team in their path, but those pointspreads have been getting a little high lately, like –29 at Utah State and –23 versus New Mexico. BYU won’t have to worry about that on Thursday; oddsmakers have the Cougs as 1-point road faves against the No. 24 TCU Horned Frogs. TCU (6-1 SU, 4-2 ATS) has encountered very little resistance up to this point – except for that one game at Oklahoma (-18.5). In fact, the poor quality of opposition both these teams have faced thus far suggests neither belongs in the Top 25.

The under is on a 3-0 run for both clubs; Thursday’s total of 45 points is the lowest since this annual meeting began in 2005, and all three previous games went over.
