This was shaping up to be a matchup of the two best football teams in the Big Ten, but the No. 12 Ohio State Buckeyes (4-1 SU, 0-4 ATS) are still reeling from that big loss at USC, while the No. 17 Wisconsin Badgers (3-1 SU, 2-2 ATS) dropped their conference opener in Ann Arbor to a rebuilding Michigan club.

The Badgers have the far lower profile of these two programs, so it’s understandable they’d be 2-point home dogs in Saturday’s contest, even though they’re playing at a higher level than Ohio State. Wisconsin’s offense has, however, had trouble converting third downs at 39.22 percent – almost identical to OSU’s 39.39 percent.

Both teams have room for optimism on the injury front. Ohio State has Heisman candidate Beanie Wells (5.9 yards per carry last year) back in action, while Wisconsin counters with tight end Travis Beckum (75 receptions in 2007).

Can Beanie make the difference or will Wisconsin take it down? Bet on it and get all your college football odds in the Bodog Sportsbook.
